The heart of the Caldera Keg System is the popular Caldera Cone that delivers stability, wind resistance, pot support and the best heat transfer you are going to find in a windscreen. The Caldera Keg pot seeks to minimize the impact on the planet by reusing discarded beverage containers for the pot and lid. On the lip and center of the Keg-H we have included a pair of silicon bands to help protect you from the hot edge and to support the Keg in the Caldera Cone. We also include a cozy sized specifically for the plastic container for keeping your liquids warm. The 12-10 stove includes an integrated primer pan and is specifically designed to run in the higher heat and reduced oxygen environment inside the cone. The fuel bottle kit includes not only a 5.5oz fuel bottle, but a reducer, lid, and instructions. All of this has been carefully designed to fit perfectly into a food grade plastic container that works great as an insulated mug or bowl and protects your system under normal use. And to top it all off, the whole system nests snuggly in it's own sil-nylon stuff sack!

Specifications
Note on Pot Volume: Trail Designs designed the Keg-H to be used with an off the shelf Heineken can. Because this can has no formed "ridge" the supplied 'monster band' fits around the center of the Keg can and supports the can on the lip of the windscreen. This location of the band is at about 1.5 cups which means that you can get 1.5 cups of water down inside the cone to heat, which is pretty standard for most dehydrated meals. The TOTAL volume of the container is 25.4 fl oz, but the top portion of that will not be inside the cone.

confident that this is the most efficient meths cooking system you'll
ever use."
