Caldera Ti-Tri ULC Titanium Stove SystemThis cook system comes with the the alcohol and esbit stoves featured in the standard the Caldera Cone, but also allows you to burn wood! No other system gives you this kind of fuel versatility, at these weights. In addition, the ULC will store in your pot! If you value packability, and are willing to trade off the standard Caldera/Ti-Tri benefits of isolating your pot from the enviornment, this is the rig for you. The complete system includes everything pictured to the left (except the pot and floor) including the Ti-Tri ULC titanium cone custom sized to fit your pot (see available pots listed here), the titanium GramCracker solid fuel kit, the 12-10 stove with integrated primer pan, fuel bottle kit with measuring cup, and two titanium stakes to support the pot. The Caldera Ti-Tri ULC is designed to be an alcohol and esbit cooking system that will support wood fires. If you would like to kick your wood fire capabilities up to the next level, you might want to consider adding the Inferno insert below. Inferno Ti-Tri™ ULC Titanium Stove SystemThe brand new Inferno Ti-Tri ULC cook system is a combination of the Ti-Tri ULC system above along with a revolutionary inverted cone called the Inferno. The Inferno Insert and grate system, when used in conjunction with the Caldera Ti-Tri ULC facilitates better air flow and a much cleaner, more complete incineration for your wood fire. In addition to the lower grate system providing air flow under your fire, it also directs additional fresh air above your fire providing an "afterburner" effect giving you more complete combustion....and like the Ti-Tri ULC....everything fits in your pot! The complete system includes everything pictured to the left (except the pot and floor) including the Ti-Tri ULC titanium cone custom sized to fit your pot (see available pots listed here), the inverted titanium Inferno Insert sized to fit the Ti-Tri, the lower grate system, the titanium GramCracker solid fuel kit, the 12-10 stove with integrated primer pan, fuel bottle kit with measuring cup, and two titanium stakes to support the pot. Optional FloorIn the interest of facilitating Leave No Trace practices, Trail Designs® offers two styles of titanium floor plates to go under your Ti-Tri systems in wood burning mode to help prevent scorching of the ground. First, the "split" floor is designed to cover the entire area under the standard Ti-Tri and comes in two pieces for easier packing. It includes stake holes at the corners to connect the semi-circles and secure them to the ground. Second, if you are ordering an Inferno, since the upside down cone Inferno has a fairly small opening at it's bottom, we provide floors that are only as wide as the Inferno bottom, but long enough to stretch outside the footprint of your Ti-Tri cone to make it easy to adjust. This single piece and longer floor is easier to manipulate, clean up your ashes, and pack. Titanium Floor - $15 |
